Workers Compensation
Workers’ Compensation laws are designed to ensure that employees who are injured or disabled on the job are provided with monetary compensation. If an employee is injured or killed while performing duties within the scope of employment, the employee and/or the employee’s family are typically entitled to benefits, which can include the payment of the medical expenses incurred as a result of the work-related injury, compensation for lost income due to the injury, and an award for the disability.
Although employees can represent themselves in workers’ compensation matters, the employee will be forced to deal with insurance companies’ and their lawyers, whose only job is to minimize any payment to you, despite the injury suffered, in order to maximize their profits. Our firm has handled various work related injuries, no matter how big or small, and we strive to obtain the maximum amount of benefits and compensation that the injured employee and/or employee’s family is entitled to as a result of the sustained injury.
